Humanity Returns to the Moon – Artemis II Launch Watch Party

Virtual Program

April 1 @ 5:00 pm 7:00 pm

After 54 years, NASA is returning astronauts to the Moon with Artemis II. In 2022, NASA launched Artemis I—an uncrewed mission designed to test the Space Launch System rocket and Orion Spacecraft. Now, the Artemis II test flight will send astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, & Jeremy Hansen on a 10-day mission out to and around the Moon. Their first steps back to the Moon will usher in a giant leap for humanity as NASA prepares for a long-term moon base and missions that will take humans beyond Earth’s orbit. Artemis II is scheduled to launch during a two-hour window starting at 6:24 PM EDT on April 1st. Join us as we discuss this historic mission and give you an overview of the Artemis program. As launch time approaches, we’ll tun into the NASA livestream to see the Artemis II crew take to the skies!
