Artemis II Lunar Flyby Watch Party

April 6 @ 6:00 pm 10:00 pm

Join us in-person at Kopernik Observatory starting at 6PM to watch the Artemis II Lunar Flyby! Today, April 6, astronauts aboard Artemis II return humanity to the Moon for a lunar flyby—the first mission of its kind since 1972. During this flyby, boundaries will be pushed, records will be set, and a new generation of space exploration begins. Watch the lunar flyby in Kopernik Observatory’s Space Science Lab. Learn how to track Artemis II and other missions to space using NASA resources in our Computer Lab. We are also anticipating partly cloudy skies this evening and if that holds, the observatory will also be open for telescope viewing. Don’t miss this historic event!

Food will not be provided, however, we welcome you to bring your own packaged snacks and bottled drinks (candy, chips, soda, etc.).
