|The Junior League of Binghamton (JLB) is excited to announce that its next signature project will be an outdoor science park at the Kopernik Observatory and Science Center (KOSC) in Vestal. The Science Park at KOSC will combine playtime and hands-on learning, with interactive science-and engineering-themed stations and an accessible telescope. Students will be able to enjoy the fresh air and engage in physical activity, while discovering how science and engineering are part of their everyday lives.
The JLB and KOSC are creating this Science Park at KOSC to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers. They are seeking community partners who want to help bring this incredible project to life! Local businesses, corporations, organizations, or individuals that are interested in working on or contributing to this project are asked to contact either Rachel Reilly O’Donnell at JLB or Drew Deskur at KOSC.
