"We had one of the brightest
auroral displays in a year on the night of November 7/8 2004. Unfortunately
it was rather cloudy in the Binghamton area. I was able to get some images
of the great display by watching for about 4 hours for breaks in the clouds."

clear and the aurora was back!."

just a green glow on the northern horizon. However, for a short 15 minutes
or so it grew into towering pillars of blue and red above the green. .....and
then it was gone."

curtains and red pillars. Soon after this image was taken the aurora subsided
to just a green glow low in the sky.aurora was mostly just a green glow
on the northern horizon."
